Demo Session: Rain On Me (Uninvited) – November 9, 2008

We were in studio today working on a new song called “Rain On Me (Uninvited),” and the recording session was broadcast live on our channel at http://mogulus.com/atomicbrother. This is our 4th week broadcasting our demo sessions live on the internet, and if you haven’t joined us you’ve missed watching us record demos of “Gold Digger,” “Perfect Day,” “Sin Is In,” “Bullet To Your Brain,” “Hands Up,” and “Better Day.” Recording is always fun, but this experience has been better because we’ve been joined by our fans, friends, even sometime Atomic Brother band members (Pat, Mike & Toby) in the chat room, and some new people that just stumble upon the channel. 

We’re 7 songs into the 14 we wanted to demo. Join us next week to see what song we’ll do next!

Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother Live!

Last Sunday, while we were in the studio working demos for our new songs, we were experimenting with a live, multi-camera video feed from the studio. Although there were some kinks, it worked out so good that we are going to do this every Sunday that we are in the studio! Here’s how it works.

We start our day in the studio around noon, setting up and recording new songs. Then you join us around 1pm Eastern by going to clicking on Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother Live! in the sidebar, or by visiting our channel at http://mogulus.com/atomicbrother to chat with us or other viewers. While we’re working you can use the chat window to send messages direct to the studio or to each other; let us know how you’re liking the new songs. Anything really. No registration is necessary, so you don’t have to worry about managing another account.

This should be a fun, and a good opportunity to reconnect with you all! Especially those of you that can’t make it to New York. So, join us in the studio Sundays starting around 1pm Eastern for Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother Live!

BMC 2008 Wrap-Up & Pics

We had a great time this past weekend in Baltimore for the 2008 Baltimore Music Conference. We met some really cool people, and some really excellent bands, and ate some really great food. Special thanks to the organizer, Lisa Suit, for having us down and supporting us in our showcase and the panel discussion.
